President

Mr. Sudip Pathak,
(2000 – 2015) 

Born in 1962 in Kathmandu District, Mr. Pathak was the third President of HURON. He was elected as the President by the 6th National Convention and served from 2000 to 2015. He is currently a member of National Human Rights Commission.

During his tenure, HURON was actively involved numerous human rights issues ranging from HURON’s role in mediating dialogue between warring Maoist Rebels and Government, establishment of Urgent Action Unit to signing of Comprehensive Peace Accord.
